At 7 am on Tuesday 6 December, RASWA Brass were on the balcony of the Fremantle Passenger Terminal to welcome the newest and biggest cruise ship to Australian waters. The Ovation of the Seas was on it’s maiden voyage to Australia and the band was in the middle of all the action. 11 stories of balconies overlooking the band, the floating hotel gave us an instant audience. Passengers disembarked over the gangplank dancing away to our PLS charts. What a great way to start the day! The band can be heard and seen on the two pages below.
