Donation to St Bartholomew’s Day Fun Fair
Thank you very much for the Royal Agricultural Society of WA Brass generous donation of providing two hours of amazing music for St Bartholomew’s Day Fun Fair on 24th August.
The day commenced with the Evensong Service at St George’s Cathedral and then followed by the St Bart’s Fair outside the grounds of the Cathedral. It was a great evening presided by the Archbishop Roger Herft in honor of the work done by St Bart’s in the Evensong Service and then onto the festivities of the Fair.
There was attendance by residents, staff, volunteers, Board members, supporters and the general public. It was great to see how relaxed everyone was to join in the activities, enjoy the music, eat some food and learn more about the work of St Bart’s. We received a lot of praises and positive comments about the music played by your group on the night.
In recognition of the Royal Agricultural Society of WA Brass generosity, there were acknowledgements on our Facebook page and St Bart’s web page and will be included in the next edition of St Bart’s newsletter.
Thank you once again for helping us to make this celebration an enormous success.
